The Maitland Partnership Ltd is a growing Scottish business consultancy with bases in both the East and West of Scotland.

With around 20 consultants, we specialise in working with ambitious SME's who need our help to support their growth strategy.

We specialise in High Growth Start-up businesses where ambitious entrepreneurs have aspirations to create something new, which exceed the norms of their industry. Our team of consultants have all led (and most are still leading) High Growth companies themselves and have the experience to shorten the very steep learning curve that comes along with rapid growth.

We work as a team and have very experienced practitioners in raising start-up capital, Marketing and Sales, HR, Strategy, Managing Growth and Business Recovery to name just a few.

Our team have close links with Scottish Enterprise and related organisations and can facilitate the delivery of support from Scottish Enterprise to your business.

If your business is or will be based in Renfrewshire, Ayrshire, Dunbartonshire, Fife or Tayside, our services are delivered to you without cost. We are contracted by the Local Enterprise Agencies in those areas to deliver support to High Growth Start-up clients.

In short, a High Growth business is one, which has the potential to generate a turnover of £750,000 by the third year of trading and/or is likely to employ 15 people or more. In addition to this, an eligible High Growth business will meet a majority of the following criteria.

• Market potential beyond the UK
• Prior management or business experience
• Personal commitment of owners
• Innovative product or service
• Limited displacement
• Growth potential beyond the initial 3 year phase
